Jelly Sweets

Jelly sweets are soft, chewy confections made from a base of gelatine or pectin, sugar, water, and fruit flavourings. They come in a wide variety of shapes including bears, worms, rings, cables, and more novelty forms like pizza slices and vampire fangs. This collection covers both classic everyday favourites and more unusual imported lines. You will find options ranging from sugary-sweet to properly tangy and sour.

The range includes well-known names like Haribo (Yellow Bellies and Giant Strawbs), Vidal (Jelly Worms, Cherry Wheels, Strawberry Cream Rings, Giant Fizzy Bears, and Jelly Filled Brains), Bebeto (Giant Cables and Fizzy Blue Pencils), Barratt Dew Drops, and Swizzels Strawberry Tarts. SoSweet own-label mixes such as the Jelly Sweet Mix and Candy Salad Mix Bucket are also included for those who want a bit of everything. Flavour profiles lean fruity, with sour and fizzy options alongside traditional sweet varieties.

Rest assured, everything here is sourced from established confectionery manufacturers and imported through legitimate supply chains. Brands like Haribo, Vidal, Bebeto, Barratt, and Swizzels are all produced to their standard specifications. You are not getting repackaged or substitute products. SoSweet specialises in bringing genuine imported and specialist sweets to UK customers.

Worth checking individual labels before buying, as suitability varies significantly across this range. Many jelly sweets use bovine or porcine gelatine, which means they are neither vegan nor suitable for all halal or vegetarian shoppers. Some lines, particularly from Bebeto and Sweetzone, are made with halal-certified gelatine. If halal certification is a priority, the dedicated halal sweets collection is a safer starting point.

Gifting-wise, this collection is a solid pick for sweet lovers of all ages. The novelty shapes, from jelly bones to pizza slices and vampire fangs, make them especially fun for children's parties, Halloween, or themed gift bags. Larger formats like the SoSweet Candy Salad Mix Bucket work well as a centrepiece gift or a sharing treat. Mixing a few different bags together gives a colourful, varied assortment that feels thoughtful without much effort.
